Bill comes from a background of acting in TV & movies. For TV shows such as The Sentinels, The X-Files, and films such as Free Willy, The X-Files movie, too many to mention. The last movie Bill was in is called Lake Placid where he acted as a silent background game warden actor. Bill is known for picking up people and taking them shopping and on this one occasion he picked up a passenger who liked Bill’s life story so much that he made a documentary on Bill called The Importance of a Forgiving Heart: The Bill Williams Story: • The Importance of a Forgiving Heart: ... This debuted at the Salt Spring Film Festival in 2012. Bill went on to start his own Film Production Company now called BGW FILM STUDIOS INC, and it is federally incorporated. He is working on a project now called Indigenous Success Stories series • BGW FILM STUDIOS Indigenous Success S... . He is focusing on the self-reliance and independence of the first nations people by creating documentary films that highlight students, filmmakers, actors, career professionals, teachers, students, singers, and more. These documentary films will be dedicated to all the children taken out of their homes, setting triumph over adversity. Looking at Bill’s life, born with club feet, deaf in both ears and borderline retardation was only the beginning of his hardship that he had to deal with. First, taken out of his home at 3 years old, taken to residential school, almost killed in residential school. Taken out of residential school and brought to the supreme court to be made ward of the courts. He was then handed over to Social Service. Raised in the foster care system up to the age of 13 years old and then put on independent living. This is only the spec of who Bill is as he endured so much in his life, through his endurance and many years of heart ache he wants to let young people know that whatever you go through you have the ability to endure and to thrive in the things you do and want to do, don’t let nobody stop you!

A Shelter original documentary series directed by Jim Lounsbury, Inspired Architecture takes a deeper look at the people and inspiration behind a number of unique and sustainable Australian builds.

The importance of B Roll in Documentary work cannot be over-rated. A narrated sequence will require a visually pleasing image, no matter how tangentially related to the message. This is a test video for the early stages of our planned Documentary. It is simply B Roll, straight from the camera (mistakes and all - including pressing the wrong camera button and taking an unintended selfie), uploaded so that we can confirm the quality and look for areas of potential difficulty that will need to be overcome before we come to the final filming. WARNING: This is nine minutes of your life that you will not get back. The decision to watch is yours! (On the positive side: I have been told that it is a very relaxing, meditative nine minutes and that it brought back childhood memories of 'just messing about in boats'.) Enjoy!

Clip from an award-winning doc series I directed a few years ago on mental health. Working with Ric to bring his struggle to life was a challenge but an honor. To this day, I hear about how this piece is having a positive impact on others.

Tells the story of babies (now adults) stolen between 1939-1992 in Spain and their search for truth, justice and reconciliation in a system determined to keep the truth dead and buried. This feature length documentary film is based in part on over 300 victim interviews and 4 years of research and combines intimate, personal interviews with live action footage of victim rallies in Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga and Sevilla , public protests, and behind-the-scenes coverage of victim strategy sessions, meetings and an inside the courtroom look at the notorious Dr. Vela trial (accused of stealing hundreds, even thousands of babies over decades) to provide the audience with a complete look at this horrific human rights violation and struggle. The filmmakers were also granted exclusive rights to film victim exhumations which revealed more lies and questions unanswered. The film also presents on-camera interviews with Spain's leading journalists, advocates, lawyers, historians, historical memory officials, elected political leaders, stolen baby association presidents, and of course, victims currently searching for their biological family-babies (now adults) and surviving mothers and fathers to tell the full, unfiltered story. This documentary also includes an exclusive interview with a current Member of the European Parliament who has investigated this issue in Spain on behalf of her committee as chairwoman. She shares her upcoming plans, hopes and frustrations moving forward from an international perspective on this issue. This documentary was filmed on location in Spain, USA and Puerto Rico.
