I'm excited to share the news that my indie documentary short, The World Series of Bocce: A Celebration of Sport, Family and Community, will make its theatrical premiere on Saturday, May 18 at Cinema Capitol in Rome, NY. The screening is part of a Local Film Shorts Showcase. The film will make its broadcast premiere on WCNY, the public broadcasting station, in Syracuse, NY, at 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 11. Here's the logline: The World Series of Bocce: A Celebration of Sport, Family and Community is a documentary short that captures the intense competition at the annual World Series of Bocce tournament in Rome, New York, while highlighting the event's economic, social and community impact.

Here's the hype video I made for last week's game using footage I got at the Johnson vs Roosevelt game the week before that. I'm super proud of this video, I feel like I'm learning more about creating a smart smooth workflow when editing, and I think this video is just absolutely beautiful for it. This video in particular was so much fun to make, being in the locker room when the coach gave that speech was exhilarating. Every time all the guys yelled Brotherhood together, the locker room shook, and I felt that force in my chest. It really made me reflect on the Brotherhood and love in my life, as I've been able to witness the football team grow closer and closer together. I'm just so grateful to be able to do this.
