As predicted, no film dominated the proceedings last night. Life of Pi was the winner as far as total number of statues received with 4. Argo, of course, won the biggie. Lincoln supporters were left cold with only 2 wins from 12 nominations. All of this uncertainty made for one interesting contest. Over 7,000 of you submitted picks. When the dust cleared, one member stood above the rest. Roberto Bricchi, an actor from North Carolina, managed to nail an astonishing 21 out of 24 selecti…

Time to have some fun... This Oscar season has been the most unpredictable in ages. With less than a week to go before the big night, many of the so called "experts" remain up in the air on most of the major awards. Will Argo become the first film since Driving Miss Daisy (and the 4th overall) to win Best Picture without the director being nominated? Will Spielberg score for Best Director, or has the momentum for Lincoln cooled? Will it be 85 year old, Emmanuelle Riva for Be…

What a start to 2013. It seems many Stage 32'ers have to put the pedal to the floor as it relates to their dreams and aspirations. The success stories have been coming in fast and furious. Over the last few days alone, we've heard from: Two actors - one in Denmark, one in Chicago - who landed agents. An editor from Los Angeles who has cut no less than 23 shorts who scored his first feature job. A composer from Sydney who has been hired to score a film for a New York p…
