Margaret Catchpole

A historic biographical series about the hero/villain Margaret Catchpole - a young lady from Suffolk in the late 1700's who gets involved with smugglers, is imprisoned and sentenced to death but breaks out of gaol and goes on the run.    Similar perhaps to 'Poledark' - but more political.

During WWII, a young Belgian nurse helps hundreds of downed airmen escape through France and over the Pyrenees Mountains to Spain and freedom, without ever getting caught by the Nazis.  Based on a true story.WWII heroic tales do not need to be centered on gunfire and battles.  Rather, the deeds of a five-foot woman to rescued downed airmen and get them back to the safety of Spain and, subsequently, the U.K, can entail dramatic moments.  Lily was very persuasive and intelligent when rescuing over 250 such airmen in just over 2 years.  Everyone will see this movie or television series.
