Try to adjust the way you watch content. If you're just starting out, watch some of your favorite movies and shows with specific attention to the editing. Pay attention to where the cuts are, the editing choices that are being made, how the editing affects the story and character beats, etc.

Interesting. I don't work primarily as a 3D artist but these tools were both new to me. I have never seen them used in a film pipeline. These days real-time render in film is Unreal Engine dominated....
