Happy Thursday, Creative Army!
As many of you already know, Stage 32 Certification has been bringing new film commissions, institutes, colleges, streamers, and other organizations into the mix on a consistent basis. This week we’re thrilled to welcome the Pittsburgh Film Office to Stage 32 Certification!
The Pittsburgh Film Office and Stage 32 are excited to partner to bring Certification opportunities to creative professionals in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This is their chance to get certified in specific production skills like Production Accounting so that they can take their careers to the next level, give themselves the tools they need to get jobs in the production industry and get their feet in the door.
But it’s not just a great opportunity for them, it’s an opportunity for ALL of our wonderful members here at Stage 32 (meaning YOU) because Stage 32 Certification is for everyone, everywhere!
The Pittsburgh Film Office’s mission is to attract film production projects to the greater southwestern Pennsylvania region; provide information on the region, locations, vendors, and crew; and to coordinate government and business offices in support of production. In addition, the film office is a conduit for information, providing assistance to local filmmakers and the local film industry throughout the designated 10-county region.

"The Pittsburgh Film Office and CreatePA are excited to offer the Production Accounting Certification Program in partnership with Stage 32. Production accounting is essential to a successful project. By equipping local talent with these critical skills, we're preparing individuals to begin their careers in the industry and making Pittsburgh an even more attractive destination for productions. Together, we're building a skilled workforce to support the development of the Pittsburgh region as a hub for film and television." – Julianna Sehy, CreatePA Manager, Pittsburgh Film Office
