While at CBS/FOX, Ron conceived the first home video campaigns for Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back, as well as many of Woody Allen's early films. In Los Angeles, …

I have two incredible producers who are part of my team: Ryan Demaree and Peter Marr - and my project would not be what it is today without them. Even with their help, there was still …

With such a vast library of great films to look to as paradigms, you’d think it would be easy to make a great movie. We’re in the age of reboots, adaptations and (dare I say) rip offs, all of which offer a great foundation for us to work from. So why is it that a lot of these fall short? It’s really quite simple. YOU’RE RIPPING OFF THE WRONG THING!! OK, so obviously I should elaborate on this. I’m a person who likes to explain things via analogies. So in t…
A few days ago, I was interviewed by writer and Stage 32 member, Serita Stevens, who writes a regular column for L.A. Splash Magazine. Serita has been a valuable member of the Stage 32 community since 2012. Her contributions, enthusiasm and the endless support she offers other 32'ers is nothing short of inspiring, and something of which I am always deeply appreciative. My staff and I thank Serita for her interest in covering Stage 32 for L.A. Splash. A link to the article…

Today's guest blog comes from one of my favorite people on the planet, Stephen Follows. Stephen is not only a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and educator, but also a master statistician. In fact, I first became aware of Stephen when I discovered (and found myself lost for hours in) his incredible blog where he chronicles the results of his extensive research into data and statistics related to the film industry. So taken was I by Stephen's work that I sought him out …
Our Fearless Leader was a guest on the extremely popular indiefilm podcast, Indie Film Hustle, hosted by filmmaker (and Stage 32 member) Alex Ferrari. This was one lively show.
