"Jobs" & "trending discussions" Lounge options ?

Again! What has happened to both "job" postings and "Trending Discussion" Lounge . Previously both options would show right up on my dashboard as soon as I entered Stage 32. Now---NO can find, either.

To paraphrase a screenwriting meme that has made the rounds: Writing a TV pilot is easy! All you have to do is introduce memorable characters with unique wants and needs, point of view and voice; set up an interesting world with potential for many storylines; set in motion the central conflict; establish the tone and themes; and show the promise of the premise in a typical episode. Whew - no wonder fitting all that into a limited number of pages seems near impossible! Mark Twain supposedly once quipped to a correspondent, “If I had more time, I would have written a shorter letter.” True, it takes time to revise, condense, cut, and trim, and it can also be a painful process - sacrificing scenes and lines you worked so hard to craft.

But as you know, executives, producers, managers and agents are busy people with stacks of scripts on their desks, and if yours is too lengthy, it will go to the bottom of the pile. Not only is a script that’s too long indicative of a writer who doesn’t know the conventions of the medium, but usually it also means the script will be a painfully slow, ponderous read. In fact, it isn’t an arbitrary page count that matters, but creating a fast, exciting read that makes your script impossible to put down. Having an airtight script is the difference between one that gets passed up the chain of command vs. one that gets a pass before the reader even makes it to the end. So you must pull at every string of your script, tighten every sequence, scene and line.

Stage 32 Deleted Accounts and Suspended Accounts

Hi, I keep getting messages from "Producers" on Stage 32 offering services. Shortly after, their accounts are either suspended or deleted. Normally, they have a picture and name of a producer with a notable filmography on IMDB. Are these fake accounts people are creating to scam filmmakers?

I recently learned of a book called A Dance with the Dead, a retelling of Disney's The Haunted Mansion (the 2003 version). It was written by Piper Cleveland. I would like to know how she did that. I want to be clear on some reasons for one of my gift ideas to Disney, remember I have Asperger Syndrome.

I had a dream where Ricky was covering Nini like you would do to keep someone safe. Then they were sitting down while emergency lights were going by, and I think it meant Ricky and Nini witnessed a crime or encountered criminals. So I think this should happen: Ricky finds out something had/has happened to Nini and his fear and concern for her brings back his feelings for her, and he makes a big sacrifice in his future and drops out of a musical, risks becoming a dropout and breaks things off with Gina realizing they are not right for each other/he has stronger feelings for Nini/he ends things with her when she is pressuring him, and goes to California to help her family make sure she is safe and one of the following happens:

1. Ricky discovers Nini is on a downward spiral thanks to a singing group that recruited her whose leader wanted to Collab with her, and with help from a nerdy kid he stood up for they help Nini's mothers find out the group had slipped her alcohol and drugs (Caffeine, Speed, and Diet pills) and she collapses in his arms, and using their bond of music helps her break the addiction and their bond is restored and they fall back in love as a few drug dealers try to take money from her.

2. Ricky learns Nini is missing and with help from a nerdy kid he stood up for discover she was kidnapped by a trafficking ring and with cops free her and using their bond over music help her with the trauma and they stop the ring.

3. Ricky learns Nini is in trouble and goes to California where reunites with Nini, and they meet the American Dragon: Jake Long in a sequel crossover called Music and Magic where they make new friends as they protect Nini from the villains who wish to exploit Nini and threats that seek to ruin America.

Then the musical group who caused Nini's trouble (blaming Ricky) try to lure her back with them using a legal contract they tricked her into signing, and Ricky and Nini make a bet to bet them in a competition (they win Nini leaves them and they take back their music, if not Nini either stays with them and never makes music again and they keep all of Ricky and Nini's music) and after they manipulate a new rule, Ricky enrolls in their school, and they put together a new crew and not only defeat the group but expose their bad habits bringing an end to their popularity. During that time Ricky and Nini bond with a group of troubled street kids and at-risk youth causing Ricky to choose between returning to Salt Lake or staying in California with Nini and helping her dreams and together build an entrepreneurship program to help at risk youth with their new crew.

Some casting ideas I have are Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris, and Liam Neeson. Please help me. Plus, the idea film Once Upon a Time in Disney.

Becoming an entrepreneur or business owner is a challenging task. Creating and developing a product or service, while also thinking of a differentiator that attracts future consumers, requires a lot of hard work. Creating, developing, having to recreate, and adapting until it’s good and makes sense is an even greater challenge. Offering something unique that solves a specific problem for consumers is vital to standing out. Innovation, excellence in customer service, and a different business model are also necessary differentiators.

For entrepreneurs who do everything on their own, every aspect of the operation depends on them. From product development to marketing and administration, everything is in their hands. Creating a culture of creativity, collaboration, and ethics, even without a team, is fundamental to transforming a good idea into a successful business.

However, they say it’s possible to start a business from scratch, but is it really from scratch? For me, there is always some investment involved. Even a home-based business, like selling cakes, incurs costs for ingredients, electricity, gas, packaging, and purchasing any equipment that is useful for mixing ingredients and facilitating production, such as a mixer or blender. - Ah! But it’s a negligible amount, someone might say, and I would respond, - But it’s still an investment.

In the case of a business that is initially online, like my small business Biruta Digital a marketing agency, the investments are different but still exist. Creating the agency's website, investing in a platform where I can manage social media all in one place without wasting time using each social media manager, investing in website domains, and customizing email boxes so that future clients can feel more secure when reaching out—all of these require investment. There’s also time spent on the computer producing, electricity, internet, and if the computer fails, it goes for technical assistance—this is both an investment and a cost because that effort could be used to create more content.

Nothing is from scratch; I also include the time spent studying and improving skills. In fact, time is a valuable investment. These examples show that regardless of the type of business, there are always investments to be made. Recognizing and valuing these investments is crucial for the growth and success of the enterprise, and this recognition must come more from those hiring the professional or those intending to hire.

Starting a business from scratch means beginning with limited resources and building from there. Each investment made is a step towards success. The path of entrepreneurs demands courage, determination, and planning. The journey is challenging, but the reward of seeing your business thrive is unparalleled.
