I know this is an article on box office but it speaks to the growing industry of small indie films. There are outlets for this bold creativity outside of the tentpole movies, sequels and spinoffs. Obviously grants in this area, however individuals, corporations, and philanthrapic organizations should be targeted, approached, and pitched.
