I’m Wisal Chaban — a screenwriter specializing in horror and psychological thrillers.

Excited to share two of my newest feature screenplays:

• THE DOLLMAKER’S GRIN

A psychological horror story about a mysterious dollmaker whose creations carry a sinister life of their own.

• THE THIRTEENTH ECHO

A supernatural thriller exploring echoes from another reality haunting a small town with terrifying consequences.

I focus on atmospheric, character-driven horror with emotional depth and cinematic tension.

One of the features is about an Indian shopkeeper, who is the pillar of the community. However, wheb there is a downturn in the economy, things turn sour.

The verbal exchanges lead to violence and ultimately the deaths of his wife and son.

After the law fails him, he takes things into his own hands.

At the moment we only have a first draft, so early days m, but we would like to speed it up for the new. I pitched it to a couple of producers at Cannes and they were really keep. There are others who are interested too.

What would you suggest?

Perhaps I could enter the shorts in competitions and maybe get some funding to make them. As an actor, I write them with me in mind.
